Currently as the story goes, Jason used SOPHIA the 3rd to stop the Plutonium Bosses in the first Blaster Master. Then he ventured underground alone to help protect Earth in Blaster Master Boy. Four years later Jason takes the resurrected SOPHIA the 4th to fight the Lightning Bosses in Blaster Master 2.
The next Gameboy Color game will take place right after the original game. The enemy was not from another planet, nor was it created naturally. Scientists that studied samples of the Plutonium Boss and his followers, mistakenly resurrected them. Jason must now venture back underground to destroy this new threat.
In the upcoming PSX game, Blaster Master: Blasting Again, Jason is dead. It takes place many years later. Jason was married to Eve, the alien that brought SOPHIA to Earth to help rid the Earth of the Plutonium Boss. They adopted a child, Ellfie, and together had a child, Roddy. After Jason's death, which was caused by bad navigation advise from his daughter Ellfie, Roddy must take a new SOPHIA underground to defend Earth in his honor. Eve has also passed away, but Roddy holds an amulet that allows him communicate with her should the need arise.
